The Jak Tree

 The jak tree is  versatile tree .People use very part of the jak tree.They eat jak fruit  ripe jak fruits are of two kinds.They are wela & waraka.We called  tender jak polos"polos can be made into a delicious  curry . Nursing mothers are given polos & boiled jak to increase location .We use Warka to treat  diabetes patients .

          jak is a food  for man and  animals .Animals eat the leaves.The broadly spread branches  give shade and  add beauty to nature. BudBuddhist monks  use jak root to dye robes in the  saffron 

           

         The trunk of the tree provide valuable  timer to construct building and to make  furniture .The  jak leaves  give out  a big  amount of oxygen  in to the air .  The dried branches  are used as firewood .we can say that the jak tree is a gift of nature .
